Christenings

A Christening marks the beginning of a journey with God that continues for the rest of our lives.  It involves baptism where a person is initiated into the Church of God.  A baptism can take place during a scheduled service or at a separate service at a mutually convenient time.  We have had a wonderful combined wedding and christening service too!

A Church of England baptism is recognised worldwide and provides a valuable link to other Christians wherever they are.

There is a helpful section on Church of England Christenings, including choosing the Godparents, on the Church of England website HERE.

If you are interested in arranging a Christening for your baby, child or yourself, please contact us to arrange to meet Rev Chris, who can let you know about the next steps.  Please use the email link below.

If you want to discuss any aspects of baptism please get in touch.
