Community

The Benefice's churches remain at the heart of their communities and provide a safe, welcoming place where people can worship God and meet comfortably with each other.

Jesus said, "Love your neighbour as yourself " and our churches are, above all, community churches, where we want to Love God, Love his people and Love our community.

To find out about a church near you, check out Our Churches page and visit our Worship page for all the Benefice services.  If you have any questions, use the link below to get in touch.

The monthly magazine, The Eggardon & Colmers View, has all the news from the villages and hamlets, as well as interesting articles and notices of upcoming events.

Individual parishes have also reached out to the elderly and isolated, particularly over the past few months and continue to do so.

We are fortunate in having three Church of England primary schools in our four parishes, all of which maintain a close connection with their local church. This gives us the opportunity to involve young families in church life. The children enjoy regular assemblies, visits from the Rector and school services within the church, which they arrange, and where friends and family are always welcome.
